Shift Supervisor - Taco RehoJob Description
Summary of Position: The Floor Supervisor at Taco Reho is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, overseeing the guest’s experience, assisting with all aspects of service, and being a leader on the floor. The Floor Supervisor will inspire and motivate the team to achieve their goals and set an example for our employees by modeling top-notch hospitality and guest service during every interaction with every guest. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build and inspire the team; ensure team members have the right tools, knowledge & equipment required to do their jobs effectively
  • Uphold core values and code of ethics in our Team development plan; Reinforce “How We Roll” and “Get L.I.T” throughout the daily shift
  • Identify and delegate responsibilities to team members to ensure day-to-day objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved; provide direction to employees regarding operational & procedural issues
  • Collaborate with department managers in evaluating and disciplining personnel, as appropriate, with oversight from the General Manager, and in accordance with company policies, rules, and procedures
  • Help drive sales by promoting and supporting sales initiatives/contests
  • Live the brand and be a brand ambassador.
  • Oversee all areas of the restaurant; make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen & dining areas
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, & ordinances
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury & accidents and complete accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured
  • Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • ServSafe Manager Food Handler certified required
  • ServSafe Alcohol certified required
  • Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal and professional life
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
  • Professional appearance, punctual, reliable
  • Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Advanced written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, internet, POS
  • Frequently walk and occasionally bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch
  • This position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds as well as climbing up and down stairs quite frequently during shifts
